Choose suitable access permissions, practise respectful teamwork, and respond safely to unacceptable content or contact.

Grade 5 · CMP-0017 / CMP-0004 · no voice

1. Permission planner

Use the least access each fictional team member needs.

Assign Viewer, Commenter, or Editor to each role.

Permission meanings

Viewer: reads without changing shared work.
Commenter: suggests and discusses without directly replacing content.
Editor: creates and changes shared content; use only when the task requires it.
Safety boundary: permissions do not make an unknown contact trustworthy. Stop, protect private details, tell a trusted adult, and use an appropriate reporting route.

2. Teamwork decisions

Scenario 1 of 8

How “Collaboration Scenario Lab” works

🎓 You are learning to: Choose suitable access permissions, practise respectful teamwork, and respond safely to unacceptable content or contact.

Welcome! Three steps and you are learning:

  1. 📖 Read the challenge

It tells you what to build, sort or fix.

  2. 🧪 Experiment

Try things and watch carefully what happens. You can always reset.

  3. 🔧 Fix and improve

Use the feedback like a detective: what clue tells you what to change?

💡 Top tip: if you get it wrong, that is useful — find out why before trying again.

Nothing you do here is saved or sent anywhere — experiment freely. Reopen this guide any time with the ? Help button.
