Complete every measurement decision, then check your thinking.

This pilot aligns only to uncovered Year 6 records MAT-0212–MAT-0217. It samples four standard-unit families, miles/kilometres, independent area/perimeter behavior, formula selection, parallelogram/triangle area and cube/cuboid volume across named cubic units. It does not duplicate MAT-0211. It does not complete the measurement unit, replace practical measurement/solid handling, provide a lesson sequence or satisfy an assessment.

How “Grade 6 Measurement Studio” works

🎓 You are learning to: Convert units, separate area from perimeter, select formulae and reason about volume.

This studio works in three steps:

  1. 🎯 Choose a mission

Each mission is a focused challenge from the menu at the top.

  2. 🧠 Decide and justify

Select the option you could defend — which rule, definition or representation supports it?

  3. 🔁 Check, reflect, improve

If the check finds an error, work out why before moving on. Finish by choosing the reason that shows how you know.

Missions in this studio: Convert standard units and miles/kilometres · Compare area and perimeter independently · Select formulae and calculate parallelogram/triangle area · Calculate, estimate and compare cube/cuboid volumes

💡 Aim to explain your method, not just your answer.
