Complete every decision, then check the method.
This pilot aligns only to uncovered Key Stage 3 record MAT-0244. It samples method selection in four original unfamiliar or non-routine problems. It does not establish general problem-solving independence, broad technique selection or reliable transfer to other unfamiliar contexts. It does not complete the solve-problems unit, provide a lesson sequence or satisfy an assessment.
🎓 You are learning to: Diagnose unfamiliar structure, select a mathematical method, and verify the result.
This studio works in three steps:
1
🎯 Choose a mission
Each mission is a focused challenge from the menu at the top.
2
🧠 Decide and justify
Select the option you could defend — which rule, definition or representation supports it?
3
🔁 Check, reflect, improve
If the check finds an error, work out why before moving on. Finish by choosing the reason that shows how you know.
Missions in this studio: Select area difference for an unfamiliar border problem · Select an equation for a reverse-percentage problem · Select systematic enumeration for restricted routes · Select least common multiple for synchronized cycles
💡 Aim to explain your method, not just your answer.
