How to teach with these studios
  • Zero setup: no accounts, no installation, nothing saved or sent — project a studio on the board or let learners use any device, including offline.
  • Self-explaining: every studio opens with a step-by-step guide in age-appropriate language, so learners can work independently.
  • Differentiated by age: studios are banded — Early years (G1–2) use minimal text, big targets and warm colours; Primary (G3–5) builds self-checking habits; Middle (G6–9) demands justification; Secondary (G10–12) uses exam-style precision. The coloured ribbon on every tool shows its band at a glance.
  • Curriculum-aligned: each studio's missions map to England national curriculum outcomes; the exact outcome codes are stated inside every tool.
  • Reasoning built in: studios only mark a mission complete when the learner also selects a valid justification — useful as a quick formative check.
  • Evidence for books: the Workbench tools produce drawings, graphs, charts and writing that learners download as an image or text file, or print straight into exercise books and portfolios.
